Embracing Equity

Society, in many countries, has come a long way in recognising women’s talents, harnessing their potential and embracing equity.

And there is still work to be done.

The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is ‘Embracing Equity’. There are a number of missions to help forge a gender equal world. Celebrating women’s achievements and increasing visibility, while calling out inequality, is key.

We were curious to know what our team thought about this – how are we doing at Ivy House? Are we doing enough to support women in our own business, and for our clients to support their women?

We asked three simple questions:

  1. Would you say Ivy House challenges gender stereotypes?
  2. Do we champion women’s voices?
  3. Our senior leadership team is 70% female; how does this make you feel?

While there is always more we can do to create a diverse, equitable and inclusive world, we wanted to share some of the things our team said in the hope that it might be challenge you to ask similar questions at your company.
