Knowing your power: Skills development

Creating environments where people feel they belong is everyone’s responsibility, whether it’s acknowledging unconscious biases or tackling our own limiting beliefs.

It’s important to embed this learning early on so that our young people can access their inner confidence, turn their limiting beliefs into empowering ones and get conscious about how they think, feel and behave.

That’s a big part of The Ivy House Award, a 2-part programme that first supports students in discovering their unique character; who they are, what they want and how they can play to their strengths, and then develops a core set of skills critical to success.
